THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (SOUTH COLLEGE STREET AREA, ABERDEEN) (TRAFFIC
MANAGEMENT) ORDER 202(X)
Aberdeen City Council proposes to make the above named order in terms of its powers under the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.The effect of the order will be to establish various traffic management
measures on South College Street, Aberdeen, and certain surrounding roads; the measures are
specified below and form part of the “South College Street Junction Improvements Project”.
Prohibition of right turns – there will be a prohibition on turning right from (1) South College Street
onto Palmerston Place; (2) South College Street onto Millburn Street; (3) Palmerston Place onto North
Esplanade West.
Prohibition of U-turns – there will be a prohibition of U-turns on a certain section of North Esplanade
West where it forms a new signal-controlled junction with Palmerston Place.
Prohibition of waiting at any time – certain lengths will be established on Bank Street, Millburn Street,
Old Ford Road, Palmerston Place, Portland Street, Riverside Drive, South College Street.
Prohibition of loading at any time – A certain length will be established on the west side of South
College Street.
Parking places / bay for the exclusive use of vehicles actively being loaded / unloaded (operational on
any day, except Sundays, between the hours of 7am and 6pm) – certain lengths on the east side of
South College Street.
Parking place / bay for the exclusive use of vehicles displaying a Disabled Person’s Badge (the “Blue
Badge”) – a certain length on the east side of South College Street.
‘Pay by Phone (App) / Permit’ parking places / bays (Operational on any day, except Sundays, between
the hours of 8am and 6pm; Tariff - Up to (1) 30mins - £0.70; (2) 1 hour £1.20; (3) 2 hours £2.20; and
(4) 3 hours max stay - £3.20. Business permits where eligible (Max 2) - £530 per annum. Residential
permits where eligible (Max 2) – £60 (1st permit) and £140 (2nd permit) per annum) – certain lengths
on the east side of South College Street (to be added to the existing administrative Controlled Parking
Area H).
‘Pay & Display / Pay by Phone (App) / Permit’ parking places / bays (Operational on any day, except
Sundays, between the hours of 8am and 8pm; Tariff - Up to (1) 30mins - £0.70; (2) 1 hour £1.20; (3)
2 hours £2.20; and (4) 3 hours max stay - £3.20. Business permits where eligible (Max 2) - £530
per annum. Residential permits where eligible (Max 2) – £60 (1st permit) and £140 (2nd permit) per
annum) - a certain length on the south side of Bank Street (within existing administrative Controlled
Parking Area H; the length concerned would replace a section which is currently subject to a prohibition
of waiting at any time).

THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (REDMOSS ROAD, OLD STONEHAVEN ROAD, ABERDEEN)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2021
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 19 April, 2021, until 18:00 on 9 May, 2021, is
to close Redmoss Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Old Stonehaven Road northwards for
270 metres or thereby. An alternative route is available via Old Stonehaven Road, Wellington Road,
West Tullos Road and Redmoss Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting at any purpose on
the same stretch of road and on either side of Old Stonehaven Road, Aberdeen, between its junction
with Redmoss Road south-eastwards for 100 metres or thereby. The no-waiting restrictions will be
demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s
expense. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during storm drain works by WM Donald
for Muir Homes.

THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (MASTRICK HEATING DUCT, ABERDEEN) (TEMPORARY
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) (NUMBER 3) ORDER 2021
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 19 April 2021, until 17:00 on 05 May 2021,
is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Hillylands Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions
with Croft Road and Fernhill Drive. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the
same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Fernhill Drive, Arnage Drive, Croft Terrace
and Croft Road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during heating duct installation

THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL FIBRE PROJECT, ABERDEEN)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) (NUMBER 4) ORDER 2021
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Fraser Place, Aberdeen, from
its junction with George Street to the access to the car park at Plumbase from 08:00 on 19 April 2021,
until 17:00 on 24 April 2021. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch
of road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative
route is available via George Street, Hutcheon Street, Mounthooly Roundabout, and Causewayend.
There will be a temporary one-way restriction on George Street, Aberdeen, form its junction with
Fraser Place to its junction with Hutcheon Street. The permitted direction of travel will be southbound
only. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. An alternative route
for northbound vehicles is available via George Street, Hutcheon Street, Mounthooly Roundabout,
Causewayend, and Powis Place. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works by

THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (CITY FIBRE PN307, MASTRICK, ABERDEEN) (TEMPORARY
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2021
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets:
Invercauld Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Birkhall Parade and Gairnshiel Place from
08:00 on 21 April, 2021, until 17:00 on 22 April, 2021. An alternative route is available via Gairnshiel
Place, Cairnwell Drive and Gairnshiel Avenue; Birkhall Parade, Aberdeen, between its junction with
the eastern entrance to Quarryhill Primary School to the western gable end of number 62 Birkhall
Parade from 08:00 on 24 April, 2021, until 17:00 on 25 April, 2021. An alternative route is available
via Invercauld Road; Cairnwell Drive, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Gairnshiel Place and Long
Walk Road from 08:00 on 27 April, 2021, until 17:00 on 28 April, 2021. An alternative route is available
via Gairnshiel Place, Invercauld Road and Long Walk Road; Stocket Parade, Aberdeen, between its
junction with the entrance to Quarryhill Court and the gable end of number 10 Stocket Parade from
08:00 on 5 May, 2021, until 17:00 on 6 May, 2021. An alternative route is available via North Anderson
Drive service road, West Cairncry Road and Long Walk Road; Birkhall Parade, Aberdeen, from the
boundary between number 14 and 16 Birkhall Parade to the gable end of number 34 Birkhall Parade
from 08:00 on 11 May, 2021, until 17:00 on 12 May, 2021. An alternative route is available via Long
Walk Place and Long Walk Road; Long Walk Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Birkhall
Parade and the boundary between number 10 and 12 Long Walk Place from 08:00 on 13 May, 2021,
until 17:00 on 14 May, 2021. An alternative route is available via Birkhall Parade, Invercauld Road and
Long Walk Road; Birkhall Parade, Aberdeen, between its junction with Long Walk Road and the gable
end of number 1 Provost Fraser Drive from 08:00 on 18 May, 2021, until 17:00 on 19 May, 2021. An
alternative route is available via Long Walk Road and Long Walk Place; Long Walk Terrace, Aberdeen,
between its western junction with Provost Fraser Drive and the boundary between number 10 and 11
Long Walk Terrace from 08:00 on 22 May, 2021, until 17:00 on 23 May, 2021. An alternative route is
available via eastern junction with Provost Fraser Drive.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. There will also be a
prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Beech
Road, Birkhall Parade, Cairnwell Drive, Gairnshiel Place, Hawthorn Crescent, Invercauld Road, Lilac
Place, Long Walk Place, Long Walk Road, Long Walk Terrace, North Anderson Drive service road,
Parade Mews, Privet Hedges, Provost Fraser Drive, Stocket Parade, West Cairncry Road, Aberdeen
from 08:00 on 19 April, 2021, until 17:00 on 30 May, 2021.
Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full
duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions
will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 50 metres at a time. For an

THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (A, B, C CLASS AND UNCLASSIFIED ROADS) (TEMPORARY
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2019
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order, which will operate from 00:01 on
4 January 2021, until 23:59 on 2 July 2023, is to impose traffic management restrictions on any of
the roads as contained within the list of Adopted Highways within Aberdeen City. These restrictions
may include parking restrictions, reduced speed limits, reduced weight limits, reduced width limits,
road closures, one-way restrictions and / or prohibitions of certain manoeuvres. A full list of the
affected streets is available for public viewing at Marischal College, Broad Street, Aberdeen. Road
closures, including any diversion routes, will be advertised with appropriate advanced signage and
no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will
be removed at the owner’s expense. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during roads
