THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (VARIOUS ROADS, SHREWSBURY) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2020 On 8 April 2020 Shropshire Council made an order to make the following changes to parking restrictions in Shrewsbury: a) No Waiting At Any Time restrictions will be placed on: Alma Street (North-west side) From its junction with Mount Street to a point 67 metres North-east of its junction with Mount Street Berwick Road (South side) From a point in line with the property boundary of No 43 and 41 Berwick Road, westwards for a distance of 114 metres. Church Road (East side) Across the dropped kerb of no. 9 Church Road. (Approximately 6 metres) Copthorne Road (North side) From a point in line with the property boundary of No 46 & 48 to a point in line with the property boundary of No 52 & 54 Freshfields (both sides) From its junction with Harlescott Crescent westwards for a distance of 18 metres, measured from the Give Way line Glenburn Garden (Both sides) From its junction with Monkmoor Road for a distance of 34 metres in a North-westerly direction Harlescott Crescent (West Side) From its junction with Harlescott Lane to a point in line with the Northern boundary of property No 61 Harlescott Crescent Harlescott Crescent (East Side) From its junction with Harlescott Lane to a point 28 metres south-west of that junction Harlescott Lane (south-west side) From a point 6 metres south-east of the property boundary of no. 129 Harlescott Lane and no. 65 Harlescott Crescent south-eastwards for a distance of 50 metres Hearne Way (South side) From the boundary of flats 29/30 and 31/32 Hearne Way for a distance of 3 metres in an South-westerly and a distance of 3 metres in a North-easterly directions Monkmoor Road (north-west side) From a point 5 metres south-west of the property boundary of no. 281A and 281B Monkmoor Road south-westwards for a distance of 28 metres Mytton Oak Road (both sides) From the property boundary of no. 78A and no. 80 Mytton Oak Road westwards to a point 5 metres east of the property boundary of Pytchley Chase, Mytton Oak Road and Beckbury House, Mytton Oak Road Old Coleham (East Side) From the property boundary of No 5 Belan Cottages and the Electric Sub Station to a point opposite the southern boundary wall of Cheshire Court. Racecourse Lane (both sides) From its junction with Mytton Oak Road northerly to a point 22 metres south of the northern building line of Bitacre, Racecourse Lane Sparrow Lane (Both sides) From its junction with Abbey Foregate for a distance of 25 metres in a Northerly direction Squinter Pip Way (both sides) From its junction with Mytton Oak Road southerly to a point 4 metres south of the southern building line of No. 1 Squinter Pip Way Thrower Road (Both sides) From it junction with Oteley Road for a distance of 55 metres in a Southerly direction b) No Waiting or Loading At Any Time within a Restricted Zone restrictions will be placed on: Maxfield Drive (South Side) From its junction with Thrower Road for a distance of 185 metres in an Easterly direction. Maxfield Drive (North Side) 1) From its junction with Thrower Road to a point 140 metres East of the junction. 2) From a point 165 metres East of its junction with Thrower Road for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly direction Thrower Road (Both Sides) From a point 55 metres South of its junction with Oteley Road to its access with the entrance to the garden centre c) Restricted Zone No Waiting At Any Time/No Loading Mon-Sat 8.15am-9.15am and 4pm-6pm) restrictions will be placed on: Crescent Lane (east side) From its junction with Town Walls in its entirety Crescent Fields (north side) From its junction with Crescent Lane for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction, measured from the Give Way line Crescent Fields (south side) From its junction with Crescent Lane for a distance of 6 metres in an easterly direction, measured from the Give Way line d) No Waiting At Any Time, No Loading Mon to Fri 8.30am to 9.30am & 2.45pm to 3.45pm restrictions will be placed on: Hemsworth Way (North side) From its junction with Ellesmere Road in an Easterly direction to the start of the parking bay Hemsworth Way (South side) Form its junction with Ellesmere Road in line with the south western corner of no. 3 Hemsworth Way e) Loading Only Mon–Sat, 8am to 6pm, 20mins No Return 1 Hour Maxfield Drive (North Side) From a point 140 metres East of its junction with Thrower Road to a point 165 metres East of its junction with Thrower Road f) No Stopping Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 9:30am, and 3:00pm and 4:00pm, on the School Keep Clear road markings Field Crescent (South-east side) From the boundary of 103 Field Crescent to its boundary with 123 Field Crescent. Any existing restrictions at the above locations will be revoked. THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (CARVER STREET, PONTESBURY) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2020 On 8 April 2020 Shropshire Council made an order to place No Waiting At Any Time parking restrictions on the following side of road in Pontesbury: Carver Street (South-East side) From a point 22 metres south-west of its junction with Main Road for a distance of 14 metres. These changes will come into effect on 17 April 2020. Copies of the orders may be examined during normal office hours (8:45am-5:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:45am-4:00pm on Fridays) at Shropshire Council, The Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury SY2 6ND. If you wish to question the validity of either Order, or any provisions in them, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from 8 April 2020, apply for that purpose to the High Court. 10 April 2020
