THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (GAIRSAY
DRIVE, ABERDEEN) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2021
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms
of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00
on Monday, 1 February 2021, until 17:00 on Friday, 12 February
2021, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side
of either side of Gairsay Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with
Gairsay Road to the boundary between the rears of 147-157 and
159-169 Lang Stracht. The works will be carried out in two phases;
Phase 1 the parking restriction will be in place from Gairsay Road
to the southern section of the inset car park at 13-23 Gairsay Drive,
and also from the northern section of the inset car park at 25-35
Gairsay Drive to the boundary between the rears of 147-157 and
159-169 Lang Stracht.
Phase 2 the parking restriction will be in place from the southern
section of the inset car park at 13-23 Gairsay Drive to the boundary
between the rears of 147-157 and 159-169 Lang Stracht. The
measure is necessary to protect public safety during street
