STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED) ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY No. 20 WHITTINGTON PARISH TEMPORARY CLOSURE Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along Public Bridleway No. 20 Whittington Parish starting from the Watery Lane Canal Bridge and extending to its junction with Cappers Lane. The closure is required due to the construction work of a new canal marina basin. A plan will be displayed showing the length of public bridleway to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area. This Order will come into operation on 30th September 2021 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the construction works are complete, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
