ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 – SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991 WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH B4151 FOLEY ROAD EAST, STREETLY (TEMPORARY ONE-WAY OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021 Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an ORDER, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding in a westerly direction along that length of carriageway of B4151 Foley Road East, Streetly, that is situated from its junction with A452 Chester Road to its junction with Thorney Road. Signed diversion routes will be in operation for affected traffic and access to adjacent properties will be maintained wherever it is safe and possible to do so. The diversion route for westbound traffic affected by the closure of that length of B4151 Foley Road East will be A452 Chester Road, B4138 Thornhill Road and B4151 Foley Road East. The Order will come into operation on 25 January 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months or until the work is completed, whichever is the earlier. The one way traffic is appropriate to ensure that the gas main renewal scheme can be undertaken in a safe manner by a contractor working on behalf of Cadent. It is expected that the work will take place between Monday 25 January 2021 and Friday 5 February 2021.
