The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 Renewable Connections invites the public to take part in the consultation for the proposed Montreathmont Solar Farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) development, to be located at land near Montreathmont Moor Forest, Forfar. The ongoing COVID-19 situation means that we will be holding the consultation online. We feel this is the safest way for members of the public to engage with us at this time. The consultation website at www.montreathmontsolar.co.uk is live and contains details of our proposals. We will be holding two webinars, the first from 12-1pm and then a repeat session at 6-7pm on Tuesday 24th May 2022. This is to enable as many people as possible to attend at a time that suits them best. This will be an opportunity to hear from Renewable Connections and to ask questions about the proposals. Comments on the proposal can be provided using the contact details above, or in writing to Montreathmont Solar Farm, c/o Renewable Connections, 141-145 Curtain Road, London, EC2A 3BX. The consultation will open on Tuesday 24th May 2022 and close at 5pm on Tuesday 21st June 2022. Please note that any comments made to Renewable Connections are not representations to Angus Council. When we submit a planning application there will be an opportunity to make direct representations to Angus Council’s Planning Department as part of the application process.
