PERTH AND KINROSS COUNCIL (PERTHSHIRE VARIOUS EVENTS) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2019 On 12/8/19 the Council made Orders under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the purpose of permitting various Parades/ Marches and Events on the following dates and locations. The Orders will temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic and all waiting and loading on both sides of the following lengths of road:- (1) 17 19/8/19 – Crieff Highland Gathering – Duchlage Road – King Street – Union Terrace, Crieff; (2) 31/8/19 – Birnam and Dunkeld Highland – A924 Boat Road – A923 Atholl Street, Dunkeld; (3) 14/9/19 – Pitlochry Highland Games – A924 Atholl Road, Pitlochry; (4) 25/9/19 to 27/9/19 – Traditional Skills Fair – King Edward Street, Perth; (5) 13/10/19 – UHI Parade Perth – Mill Street – Kinnoull Street – High Street – George Street – Bridge Lane – Mill Street, Perth; (6) 5/11/19 (between 17:00hrs 22:00hrs) – Perth Bonfire night – A912 Edinburgh Road from the A989 Marshall Place to South Inch Terrace, Perth; (7) 10/11/19 – Blair Atholl Remembrance Day Parade – B8079 Blair Atholl; (8) 10/11/19 – Kinross Remembrance Day Parade – Station Road – High Street, Kinross; (9) 10/11/19 – Perth Remembrance Day Parade – Mill Street – George Street – High Street – King Edward Street – St John’s Place – Kirkside, Perth; (10) 23/11/19 – Kinross Christmas and Festive Light-up – High Street – The Muirs, Kinross; (11) 30/11/19 – Aberfeldy Christmas Parade – The Square, Aberfeldy; and (12) 15/11/20 – Opening of the Fishing season at Kenmore – A827 – The Square – Pier Road – Aberfeldy Road – Taymouth Drive, Aberfeldy. Alternative routes: (6) A912 Edinburgh Road – Shore Road – A989 Marshall Place; (8) Clashburn Road – Junction Road – B918 Station Road. Remaining alternative routes are Local Diversions. Pedestrian thoroughfare and emergency access will be maintained.
