PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION:
Erection of BESS and associated infrastructure changes
proposed to scheme approved under ref APP/2023/0718
including layout and access – Land at Middleton of
Blackford, Rothienorman, AB51 8YN.
Proposed changes to APPROVED major development
of Battery Energy Storage System (49.9MW), including
associated infrastructure, access, and landscaping.
An in-person public meeting will take place on Thursday
16th January & Thursday 20th February at the
Rothienorman Village Hall between 4 pm to 7 pm, when
there will be an opportunity to find out further information
and to ask the project team representing the Applicant,
Scot Stability Ltd, questions about the prospective
development. Further information will be available also at

com from 10th January 2025, or you can contact Scot
