THE HIGHLAND COUNCIL
The Council has made The Highland Council (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic)
(Beaufort Gardens And Maple Vale, Beauly) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, and related legislation, to temporarily prohibit traffic from
using the following lengths of roads:
U1679 Beaufort Gardens, Beauly, Inverness-shire, between its junction with the
A862 Ardullie – Dingwall – Beauly – Inverness Road and its junction with the U1703
Aird Road;
U1706 Maple Vale, Beauly, Inverness-shire, between its junction with the U1679
Beaufort Gardens and its junction with the U1703 Aird Road.
Access for pedestrians shall be permitted providing always that they comply with
such instructions as may be issued to them by the contractor for the works. Local
access will be maintained at the discretion of, and in accordance with, instructions
given by the contractor for the works.
The prohibitions are required to enable public utility infrastructure works to safely
proceed and will apply when a prohibition is identified by means of one or more of
the appropriate temporary traffic signs as prescribed in the ‘Traffic Signs Regulations
and General Directions 2016’.
The Order shall come into operation at 08:00 hours on Monday 2 December 2024 and
shall remain in effect until 18:00 hours on Friday 6 December 2024. Any enquiries
