ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (CRAIGIEVAR PLACE, ABERDEEN)(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2019 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08.00 on 28 October, 2019, until 16:00 on 1 November, 2019, is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on Craigievar Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Aboyne Road and Aboyne Gardens. The permitted direction of travel will be eastbound only. An alternative route for westbound vehicles is available via Pitmedden Road, Aboyne Place, Craigievar Crescent, Inchbrae Drive, and Aboyne Road. There will also be a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Craigievar Place, Aberdeen, from a point 27m west of Craigievar Crescent to a point 20m east of Craigievar Crescent, and from its junction with Aboyne Gardens to a point 10m west of the junction. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during BT Openreach works. The effect of the order, which will operate from 17:30 on 1 November, 2019, until 17:00 on 3 November, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Crombie Road, Aberdeen, between a point 25m or thereby, west of the junction with Mansefield Road and a point 90m or thereby, west of the junction with Mansefield Road. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during Telecom Mast refurbishment works. The effect of the order, which will operate until 22:00 on 27 April, 2020, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Manor Avenue Aberdeen, from its junction with North Anderson Drive to the boundary between numbers 44-46 and 48-50 Manor Avenue. The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during carriageway reconstruction works. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08.00 on 28 October, 2019, until 17:00 on 1 November, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Mile-End Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with Mile-End Place to the boundary between numbers 74-76 and 78-82 Mile-End Avenue. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during gas connection works by SGN.
