ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (BERRYWELL GARDENS, VICTORIA STREET, ABERDEEN)(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2019 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 15:00 on 30 September, 2019, until 06:00 on 5 October, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Victoria Street, Dyce, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Pitmedden Road and Berrywell Gardens. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. There will be a prohibition of left turn manoeuvres from Berrywell Gardens, Aberdeen, on to Victoria Street, from 21:00 in the evening until 06:00 the following morning, on evenings beginning 30 September, 1, 2, 3, and 4 October, 2019. An alternative route is available via northbound on Victoria Street, Mains of Dyce Roundabout, and southbound on Victoria Street. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works by BT Openreach. The effect of the Order, which will operate from 06:00 on 5 August 2019, until 23:59 on 3 January 2021, is to impose traffic management restrictions on any of the roads as contained within the list of Adopted Highways within Aberdeen City. These restrictions may include parking restrictions, reduced speed limits, reduced weight limits, reduced width limits, road closures, one-way restrictions and / or prohibitions of certain manoeuvres. A full list of the affected streets is available for public viewing at Marischal College, Broad Street, Aberdeen. Road closures, including any diversion routes, will be advertised with appropriate advanced signage and no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The effect of the order, which will operate from 15.00 on 2 October, 2019, until 06:00 on 3 October, 2019, and from 15.00 on 3 October, 2019, until 06:00 on 4 October, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of North Deeside Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with School Road and the boundary between numbers 102 and 104 North Deeside Road, and on Station Road East, Aberdeen, between its junction with North Deeside Road and the access at number 5 Station Road East. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 until 22:00 on 30 September, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Gallowgate, Aberdeen, between its junction with Spring Garden and Lighting Column LP 10. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during Ironworks renewals by Keir for Scottish Water. The effect of the order, which will operate from 23:00 on 30 September, 2019 until 23:00 on 29 February, 2020, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Princes Street, Aberdeen, between its junction with King Street and a point 17 metres west of it’s junction with Park Place. From 23:00 on 30 September, 2019 until 23:00 on 30 November, 2019, no pedestrians access will be allowed during the works. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during construction works for Drumrossie Homes. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 30 September, 2019, until 17:00 on 4 October, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Salisbury Terrace, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 13 and 15 Salisbury Terrace to the boundary between number 32 and 34 Salisbury Terrace and also on either side of Salisbury Place, Aberdeen, from the junction with Salisbury Terrace to the gable end of number 86 Salisbury Place.
