NOTICE OF PUBLIC INQUIRY SESSION ACQUISITION OF LAND (AUTHORISATION PROCEDURE) (SCOTLAND) ACT 1947 ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984 A9 DUALLING TOMATIN TO MOY The Scottish Ministers in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 139 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 and paragraph 1 of the Fourth Schedule of the Acquisition of Land (Authorisation Procedure) (Scotland) Act 1947 have appointed Mr Andrew Sikes BA (Hons), DipUD, MRTPI to call and hold a public local inquiry in connection with the undernoted orders against which objections have been lodged and not withdrawn. • The A9 trunk Road (Tomatin to Moy) Compulsory Purchase Order • The A9 trunk Road (Tomatin to Moy) (Trunking) Order • The A9 trunk Road (Tomatin to Moy) (Side Roads) Order • The A9 trunk Road (Tomatin to Moy) (Prohibition of Specified Turns) Order • The A9 trunk Road (Tomatin to Moy) (Extinguishment of Public Rights of Way) Order The session will take place on Tuesday 27 August 2019 within Strathdearn Millennium Hall, Tomatin, Inverness-shire, IV13 7YN and will run for 4 days. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe proceedings at the inquiry if they wish. The inquiry will commence at 10:00 a.m. and is expected to finish no later than 5:00 p.m. on each day. You may wish to note that the venue has disabled access. Four weeks prior to the start of the inquiry, copies of the majority of the inquiry papers will be available at The Strathdearn Millennium Hall, Tomatin. They will also be available on the DPEA website at www.dpea.scotland.gov.uk. On entering the website, type the case reference number CPO-270 6 into the ‘Search by case reference’ box to find all documents relating to the cases. Attendees and/or participants may wish to note that this meeting will be broadcast live to the internet as part of DPEA’s webcasting service. Generally the public seating areas will not be directly filmed however by entering the meeting venue and using the public seating area, you are consenting to being filmed and to the use and storage of those images and sound recordings and any information pertaining to you contained in them for webcasting and training purposes and for the purpose of keeping historical records and making those records available to the public.
