STREET, ST ANDREW STREET, ABERDEEN)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT)
(NUMBER 2) ORDER 2019
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms
of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition
of driving on the following streets; George Street, Aberdeen,
between its junctions with Hutcheon Street and St Andrew Street,
and St Andrew Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with
Jopp’s Lane and Charlotte Street from 06:00 on 27 May, 2019,
until 06:00 on 30 May, 2019. An alternative route is available via
Hutcheon Street, Mounthooly, Gallowgate, Berry Street, Loch
Street, and St Andrew Street, or via Hutcheon Street, Caroline
Place, Skene Square, Woolmanhill, North St Andrew Street, and
John Street. George Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with
Powis Terrace and Fraser Place, from 06:00 on 30 May, 2019, until
23:30 on 31 May, 2019. An alternative route is available via Powis
Place, Causewayend, Mounthooly, and Hutcheon Street. Access
to properties will be maintained when possible. There will be a
prohibition of waiting at any time on the following streets; George
Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Hutcheon Street and St
Andrew Street, from 06:00 on 27 May, 2019, until 06:00 on 30 May,
2019. George Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Powis
Terrace and Fraser Place, from 06:00 on 30 May, 2019, until 23:30
on 31 May, 2019. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated
by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be
removed at the owner’s expense. The measures are necessary
to protect public safety during carriageway surfacing works. Any
