ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (CAIRNAQUHEEN GARDENS, ABERDEEN) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2019 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 20 May, 2019, until 17:00 on 27 May, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Cairnaquheen Gardens, Aberdeen, on the loop roads at numbers 4 to 18 Cairnaquheen Gardens, and 26 to 40 Cairnaquheen Gardens. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretches of roads between 07:30 and 17:00 Mon-Fri. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. Access to properties will be maintained when possible. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during carriageway surfacing works. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets; Carnie Drive, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with Gillespie Crescent and a point 20 metres in a north easterly direction from 08:00 on 24 May, 2019, until 17:00 on 25 May, 2019. An alternative route is available via Brough Place, Gillespie Place and Gillespie Crescent; Beattie Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Carnie Drive and gable end of number 13-23 Beattie Place from 28 May, 2019, until 17:00 on 29 May, 2019. An alternative route is available via Carnie Drive and Elder Place; Gillespie Crescent, Aberdeen, from the gable end of number 62-72 Gillespie Crescent to the boundary between number 62-72 and 74-84 Gillespie Crescent from 08:00 on 30 May, 2019, until 17:00 on 1 June, 2019. An alternative route is available via Gillespie Place; Gillespie Crescent, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with Gillespie Place to the boundary between number 26-36 and 38-48 Gillespie Crescent from 08:00 on 3 June, 2019, until 17:00 on 4 June, 2019. An alternative route is available via Gillespie Place; Gillespie Place, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with Gillespie Crescent and a point 20 metres in a north easterly direction from 08:00 on 5 June, 2019, until 17:00 on 6 June, 2019. An alternative route is available via Brough Place, Carnie Drive and Gillespie Crescent; Beattie Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Ashgrove Road and Elder Place from 08:00 on 7 June, 2019, until 17:00 on 8 June, 2019. An alternative route is available via Ashgrove Road and Carnie Drive; Elder Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Beattie Avenue and Beattie Place from 08:00 on 10 June, 2019, until 17:00 on 11 June, 2019. An alternative route is available via Beattie Avenue, Carnie Drive and Beattie Place. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Back Hilton Road, Beattie Avenue, Beattie Place, Cadenhead Place, Carnie Drive, Cattofield Gardens, Elder Place, Gillespie Crescent, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 23 May, 2019, until 17:00 on 3 July, 2019. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre. THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (CITY FIBRE PN30, KITTYBREWSTER, ABERDEEN)(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) (NUMBER 2) ORDER 2019 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 20 May, 2019, until 17:00 on 30 June, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Barkmill Road, Cedar Place, Chestnut Row, Elm Place, Laurelwood Avenue, May Baird Avenue, Shaw Crescent, Aberdeen. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of nowaiting cones. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre. Any queries regarding this restriction can be directed to Touchstone Traffic Solutions on 07799907231 THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING PLACES IN ABERDEEN CITY)(REGULATORY PARKING PLACES) (REF.1/19 ORDER 2019 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and its duties under the Disabled Persons’ Parking Places (Scotland) Act 2009. The effect of the order, which will come into operation on the 3rd June 2019, is as advertised in the Evening Express on 13th May 2019. The effect of the order is to establish regulatory on-street parking places in the streets listed in the schedule below. In each case, a single on-street parking place – reserved for the exclusive use of any Blue Badge holder – will be established on the street in question. The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:30 until 15:30 on 21 May, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Hazlehead Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Provost Graham Avenue and the parking area at 14 Hazlehead Place. No through traffic will be possible, except for emergency vehicles. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during ironwork repairs by Scottish Water. The effect of the order, which will operate 08:00 until 18:00 on 22nd May, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Mastrick Junction, Aberdeen, between its eastern side of the junction with Cairnwell Avenue and the boundary between number 28 and 30 Mastrick Junction. An alternative route is available via Cairnwell Drive, Birkhall Place, Upper Mastrick Way and Mastrick Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during crane lifting works. The effect of the order, which will operate from 12:00 on 24 May, 2019 until 16:00 on 25 May, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on the either side of North Deeside Road, Milltimber, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Milltimber Brae and Pittengullies Brae. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during Sports day at Albyn School playing Field. THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (SKENE STREET, SPA STREET, ABERDEEN)(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT)(NUMBER 2) ORDER 2019 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:00 on 20 May, 2019, until 18:00 on 2 June, 2019, is to make Skene Street, Aberdeen, one-way between its junctions with Rosemount Viaduct and the Woolmanhill Roundabout. The direction of flow will be northbound. An alternative route is available via Woolmanhill Roundabout, Skene Square, South Mount Street, Rosemount Viaduct and Skene Street. There will be no waiting for any purpose on the same stretch of road. There will be an exception for buses in the layby bus drop off point at the rear of His Majesty Theatre. Spa Street, Aberdeen, will be one-way, between its junction with Skene Street and the entrance to the Denburn car park. There will also be a prohibition of waiting for any purpose, on the east side of Spa Street Aberdeen, between its junctions with Skene Street and Gilcomston Park with an area between a point 72 metres or thereby, from its junction with Skene Street, northwards, for a distance of 21 metres, designated for disabled vehicles. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during repairs works by Aberdeen City Council.
