c o u n c i l AUDIT SCOTLAND REPORT ON BEST VALUE At its meeting on October 7th 2020, Moray Council will formally consider the Audit Commission’s findings in relation to a progress report by Audit Scotland on a Best Value audit of the council. The Commission has stated it is concerned over the limited progress of the council’s transformational plan, the condition of its school estate and its overall performance. However it is encouraged to find evidence of recent progress resulting in stronger strategic decisions being taken, and will return in 18 months to confirm progress is being sustained.
