Public Meeting – proposal for seaweed farm at South Pabay, Isle of Skye KelpCrofting are an environmental start-up that would like to establish an 11.5 hectare seaweed farm in the waters south of Pabay, Isle of Skye, to grow kelp for various markets. Prior to applying for a marine license, an online public meeting is being held to give interested individuals and organisations the opportunity to consider and comment on the proposed development, and KelpCrofting are keen to talk with local people about the proposal. A Q&A document will also be published at www.kelpcrofting.com after the meeting** NOTE: KelpCrofting is conducting a pre-application consultation for a seaweed farm at south Pabay, Isle of Skye. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the Marine Scotland Licensing Authority (MS-LOT). There will be an opportunity for representations to be made to MS-LOT on the application.
