www.highland.gov.uk THE HIGHLAND COUNCIL The Council has made The Highland Council (C1051 Raigmore Tower – Nairnside Road, Inverness-shire) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and related legislation, to temporarily prohibit traffic from using the C1051 between its junction with the B9006 Millburn Roundabout – Culcabock – Castlehill – Culloden Moor – Croy – Gollanfield – Fort George Road and its junction with the B851 Errogie – Strathnairn – Daviot Bridge – Culloden Moor Road. The prohibition is required to enable water main replacement works to safely proceed, and will apply to the whole, or a part of the road, when a prohibition is identified by means of one or more of the appropriate temporary traffic signs as prescribed in the ‘Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016’. A diversion for vehicular traffic will be available using the B851, the C1088 Culloden – Clava Bridge – Culdoich Road and the B9006. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. The Order shall come into effect at 08:00 hours on Monday 27 January and shall remain in force until 16:30 hours on Friday 17 April 2020 inclusive.
