www.highland.gov.uk THE HIGHLAND COUNCIL The Council has made The Highland Council (Elrig Bridge - Inverness-shire) (Temporary Closure) Order 2019 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and related legislation, to temporarily prohibit traffic from using that length of the U1112 carried by Elrig Bridge. The prohibition is required to enable bridge deck replacement works to safely proceed and will apply when a prohibition is identified by means of one or more of the appropriate temporary traffic signs as prescribed in the ‘Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016’. The Order shall come into effect at 07:00 hours on Wednesday 4 December and shall remain in force until 18:00 hours on Friday 20 December 2019 inclusive.
