The effect of the order, which will operate from 18:30 on 15 September, 2019, until 16:00 on 20 September, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Bon Accord Street, Aberdeen, between the junction of Fonthill Road and the North boundary of 170/172 Bon Accord Street and on either side of Whinhill Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Bon Accord Street and the North boundary of 6 Whinhill Road and also on either side of Fonthill Road, Aberdeen, between the west boundary of 42 Fonthill Road and the east boundary of 18-20 Fonthill Road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative route is available via Loirston Road, Loirston Avenue and Earns Heugh Road. The effect of the Order, which will operate from 06:00 on 5 August 2019, until 23:59 on 3 January 2021, is to impose traffic management restrictions on any of the roads as contained within the list of Adopted Highways within Aberdeen City. These restrictions may include parking restrictions, reduced speed limits, reduced weight limits, reduced width limits, road closures, one-way restrictions and / or prohibitions of certain manoeuvres. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during a RGC procession to St. Nicholas Kirk.
