ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (BRODIACH ROAD, ABERDEEN)(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2019 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 22 June, 2019, until 22:00 on 6 July, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Brodiach Road, Aberdeen, between Cairdhillock Farmhouse and The Bungalow. An alternative route is available via Westhill Road, Westhill Drive, and the A944 Skene Road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during water connection works for a new development. Any queries regarding this restriction can be directed to WM Donald on 01569 730590, or info@wmdonald.co.uk THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (CAIRN ROAD AND BAILLIESWELL ROAD, ABERDEEN)(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2019 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate 08:00 on 19 June, 2019, until 17:00 on 21 June, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving Cairn Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Baillieswell Road and a point 15 metres in an easterly direction. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative route is available via Baillieswell Road, North Deeside Road and Cairn Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Baillieswell Road, Aberdeen between its junctions with Baillieswell Terrace and Prospecthill Road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (CITY FIBRE PN15, FERRYHILL, ABERDEEN) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2019 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a one-way restriction on Fonthill Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Holburn Roundabout and Whinhill Road from 08:00 on 22 June, 2019, until 17:00 on 23 June, 2019. The permitted direction of travel will be east bound. An alternative route for westbound vehicles is via Whinhill Road, Great Southern Road and Holburn Roundabout. There will also be a prohibition of driving on Albury Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Fonthill Road and the boundary between number 74 and 76 Albury Road from 08:00 on 24 June, 2019, until 17:00 on 25 June, 2019. An alternative route is available via Fonthill Road, Bon-Accord Street and Caledonian Place. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Albury Road, Fonthill Gardens East, Fonthill Gardens West, Fonthill Road, Fonthill Terrace, Great Southern Road, Hardgate, Whinhill Gardens, Whinhill Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 17 June, 2019, until 17:00 on 28 July, 2019. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre. The effect of the order, which will operate from 05:00 on 17 June, 2019, until 22:00 on 24 December, 2019, is to impose a temporary 20mph speed restriction on Coast Road, Aberdeen, and St Fittick’s Road, Aberdeen, between Nigg Wastewater Treatment Plant and St Fittick’s Church. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during carriageway reconstruction works for the new harbour development. THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (CRAIGTON ROAD, ABERDEEN (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) (NUMBER 2) ORDER 2019 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 17 June, 2019, until 19:00 on 11 August, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Craigton Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Friarsfield Road and Bairds Brae. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative route is available via Springfield Road, Countesswells Road, Kirk Brae, and Friarsfield Road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during road reconstruction works. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 17 June, 2019, until 22:00 on 7 July, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Cruickshank Crescent, Aberdeen, from the driveway at the side of number 34 Laws Road and the boundary between numbers 11-21 and 23-33 Cruickshank Crescent. An alternative route is available via Laws Road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works to construct a new layby. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during BT Openreach works.
