DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991) THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF DUDLEY (TEMPORARY ONE-WAY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION) (TRINDLE ROAD, DUDLEY) ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council propose to make the above mentioned Order, the effect of which will be to make Trindle Road, Dudley (from the junction of Castle Hill to the junction of King Street/Hall Street) temporarily one-way for traffic travelling in a southbound direction from Monday 13 July 2020 until Friday 25 September 2020. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via New Mill Street, Flood Street, Duncan Edwards Way and Castle Hill. No diversion is required for the opposite direction as this is a one-way Order. The purpose of the restriction is to safely facilitate water main diver- sion works for the Metro Project. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works have not been completed within eighteen months, the Order may be extended for a longer period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
