(CAIRNLEITH STREET/B952 AIRLIE STREET/ST NINIAN’S ROAD,
ALYTH) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024
On 23/7/24 the Council made the above Order under Section 14
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to (ONE) temporarily
prohibit driving, parking and/or loading for all vehicular traffic on
both sides of Cairnleith Street, Alyth from its junction with the
B952 Airlie Street to its junction with the private access to the
property 3 Cairnleith Street for 25 metres or thereby; and (TWO)
temporarily prohibit all parking and/or loading for all vehicular
traffic on both sides of the following roads in Alyth:- (A) B952 Airlie
Street between the Morn Street and Mid Street junctions for 115
metres or thereby (Alternative route for vehicles: B952 Airlie Street
– Morn Street – Smythie Street); and (B) St Ninian’s Road from its
junction with the B952 Airlie Street to its junction with the private
access to the property Dunira for 74 metres or thereby (Alternative
route for vehicles: B952 Airlie Street – Mid Street – Smythie
Street). This applies from 8/8/24 for an estimated period of 2 days
to permit BT Openreach works. Should these works overrun the
maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian
and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.
