ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (BRAEMAR PLACE, ABERDEEN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2020 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:30 on Monday, 5 October 2020, until 17:00 on Sunday, 11 October 2020, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on the north-west side of Braemar Place, Aberdeen, from the boundary between 18 and 20 to the boundary between 22 and 24. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during works by Scottish Water. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 10 October, 2020, until 17:00 on 25 October, 2020, is to impose the temporary restrictions in the schedule below. The restriction will be carried out in phases, and phases 2,3,4,5 and 6 will not commence until the previous phase has been completed. Phase 1 for approximately two days; Prohibition of driving on Sclattie Park, Aberdeen, between its junction with Kepplehills Drive and the path at boundary between number 48 & 50 Sclattie Park. here will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners’ expense. An alternative route is available via Kepplehills Drive and Kepplehills Road. Phase 2 for approximately three days; Prohibition of driving on Cloverfield Gardens, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 2 & 3 Cloverfield Gardens to the boundary between number 1 & 98 Cloverfield Gardens. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners’ expense. An alternative route is available via A96 Inverurie Road and Sclattie Park. Phase 3 for approximately four days; Prohibition of driving on Cloverfield Gardens, Aberdeen, from the path at boundary between number 66 & 83 Cloverfield Gardens to the boundary between number 1 & 98 Cloverfield Gardens. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners’ expense. An alternative route is available via A96 Inverurie Road and Sclattie Park. Phase 4 for approximately two days; Prohibition of driving on Cloverfield Gardens, Aberdeen, from the path at boundary between number 66 & 83 Cloverfield Gardens to the gable end of number 66 Cloverfield Gardens. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners’ expense. An alternative route is available via Sclattie Park. Phase 5 for approximately three days; Prohibition of driving on Cloverfield Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junction with Sclattie Park and the boundary between number 68 & 82 Cloverfield Gardens. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners’ expense. An alternative route is available via Sclattie Park. Phase 6 for approximately two days; Prohibition of driving on Cloverfield Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junction with Sclattie Park and a point 10 metres in an easterly direction. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners’ expense. An alternative route is available via Sclattie Park and also on Hopetoun Court, Aberdeen, between its junction with Sclattie Park and the rear of number 40 Sclattie Park. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 10 October, 2020, until 17:00 on 25 October, 2020, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Richmond Street, Rosemount Place, Aberdeen. Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no- waiting cones for no more than 50 metres at a time. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on Rosemount Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Caroline Place and Westburn Road from 08:00 on 14 October, 2020, until 17:00 on 20 October, 2020. The permitted direction of travel will be south-eastbound only. An alternative route for north-westbound vehicles is available via Caroline Place and Westburn Road. There will also be a temporary prohibition of right turns from Westburn Road, Aberdeen to Mount Street and Rosemount Terrace, Aberdeen from 24 October, 2020, until 17:00 on 25 October, 2020. The effect of the Order, which will operate from 06:00 5 AUGUST 2019, until 23:59 on 03 JANUARY 2021, is to impose traffic management restrictions on any of the roads as contained within the list of Adopted Highways within Aberdeen City. These restrictions may include parking restrictions, reduced speed limits, reduced weight limits, reduced width limits, road closures, one-way restrictions and / or prohibitions of certain manoeuvres. The effect of the order, which will operate from 00:01 on 6 October 2020, until 23:59 on 31 March 2021, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on the north side of Urquhart Road, Aberdeen, from the western side of its junction with Park Road, westwards for a distance of 28 metres or thereby, and on the west side of Park Road, Aberdeen, from the southern side of its junction with Urquhart Road, southwards for a distance of 35 metres or thereby. Also, except for pedal cycles, vehicles will be prohibited from turning left onto Urquhart Road from that length of Park Road located to the south of its junction with Urquhart Road. Vehicles will also be prohibited from turning right onto Urquhart Road from that length of Park Road located to the north of its junction with Urquhart Road, albeit this prohibition shall not apply to buses. These measures are necessary in the interests of public safety and associated with the traffic signal controls at the junction of Urquhart Road with Park Road. THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (WELLHEADS AVENUE, ABERDEEN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2020 Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 5 October, 2020, until 17:00 on 15 November, 2020, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the northern carriageway of Wellheads Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junction with Stoneywood Road and a point 20 metres in an easterly direction. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative route is available via Stoneywood Road, Stoneywood Park and Stoneywood Park North. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during Water Main connection works.
